Indian Cooking Night at The Stores, Llansteffan

Come and join me for a relaxed, hands on evening of Indian cooking, where we will make a delicious meal from scratch using locally sourced ingredients and plenty of authentic flavour. Whether you are completely new to Indian cooking or already enjoy making curries at home, you will be made very welcome and learn some insightful tips and cooking techniques.

We will use an authentic Indian cooking pot to create an oven baked curry, (with a choice of chicken or vegetable). Everything is made without oil, so you can enjoy beautifully balanced food that is full of flavour without feeling heavy.

What you will make

• An oven baked chicken or vegetable curry
• Saffron infused rice
• Your own hand made naan bread
• Crisp, savoury onion bhajis

A table will be reserved for you in the restaurant for you to enjoy your creations, or you are welcome to take them away with you to enjoy in your own home.

This is a fun and educational cooking night suitable for all ages and all levels of experience. I will guide you step by step, sharing kitchen secrets, authentic kitchen knife skills and plenty of useful tips that you can take home with you.

By the end of the evening, you will have the knowledge and confidence to make these dishes again at home and impress your friends and family around your own table.

About the location

The course is held at The Stores in Llansteffan, with free parking available just outside. There is also a bar and restaurant on site, so you can make a full evening of it. The beach is only a short stroll away, as is the Norman castle, and there is plenty to see in the area if you would like to spend the day exploring before your course.
