Where is Jamie based?

Jamie's bread making courses take place at The Village Stores, Llansteffan, one of the most beautiful and unspoilt villages in Wales. Tucked along the Tywi estuary on the Carmarthenshire coast, it's the kind of place that stops you in your tracks the moment you arrive. Easy to find, with free parking nearby, you'll feel at home before you've even stepped through the door.

Llansteffan has a way of staying with you long after you leave. The medieval castle stands directly opposite the venue, its ancient walls framing views across the water that have inspired artists and writers for centuries. Wander down to the estuary and watch the tides shift across the sandbanks, or follow the coastal path as it winds through woodland and opens out onto sweeping views of Carmarthen Bay. The beaches here are quiet and unspoilt, a world away from the everyday.

The village itself is full of character. Independent walks, hidden coves, and a pace of life that encourages you to slow down and take it all in. It's the perfect backdrop for a day spent learning, creating, and connecting with something as timeless as bread.

Back at The Stores, there's a bar and restaurant on site, so you can settle in before your session or unwind afterwards over a light lunch, a drink, or a proper coffee from our barista machine. Everything you need is right here.
