About Jamie

Meet Jamie Murray

Jamie's passion for baking began at just 15 years old, learning his craft in a traditional hands-on bakery in Northampton. After successfully qualifying as a baker through the City & Guilds scheme, he took his skills to new heights by joining the Royal Navy, where he trained as a Navy chef and served with distinction for seven years.

In 2016, Jamie and his family made the beautiful coastal village of Llansteffan, Carmarthenshire, their home. Today, they run The Village Store, which houses Jamie's baking studio—the heart of all his bread making and culinary courses.
